The invention relates to a method for producing a bearing porous building block by taking shale as a raw material. The bearing porous building block is characterized in that the bearing porous building block is made of the raw materials including, by weight, 90-95 parts of shale powder, 20-25 parts of boron mud, 1-3 parts of thickening agents, 0.5-1.0 part of water reducing agent, 0.01-0.1 part of reinforcing agent, 0.02-0.04 part of antifoaming agent and 0.01-0.03 part of early-strength agent. The bearing porous building block is low in cost, excellent in performance and stable in quality and has the advantages of excellent strength, freezing and thawing resistance, wind-erosion resistance, heat preservation, sound insulation and the like.
