The invention provides a defroster for a gate slot of a water conservancy and hydropower gate. The defroster for the gate slot of the water conservancy and hydropower gate comprises a heating element, wherein the heating element is arranged on the gate slot in a water attaining surface side of a gate body; a freezing sensor is arranged on the gate slot in the other side, which is opposite to the gate body, of the heating element and is connected with a signal inputting end of a central control unit through a signal transmitting cable; a signal outputting end of the central control unit is connected with a signal inputting end of a grouping switching driver through a signal transmission cable; a power inputting end of the grouping and switching driver is connected with an electric power supply through an electric energy transmission cable; and a power outputting end of the grouping and switching driver is connected with the heating element through an electric energy transmission cable. The defroster for the gate slot of the water conservancy and hydropower gate has the advantages of simple structure, high defrosting effect and safety and reliability in running, and can be widely used in the field of water conservancy and hydropower engineering.
