The invention discloses a building roof heat insulation device comprising an upper plate and a lower plate, wherein the lower plate is provided with a recessed cavity; the bottom surface of the lower plate is provided with a plurality of through holes communicating with the recessed cavity; the upper plate is fixedly connected on the lower plate; an opening communicating with the recessed cavity is arranged in the middle of the upper plate; the bottom surface of the recessed cavity is provided with a partitioning plate; a clearance is arranged between the bottom surface of the partitioning plate and the bottom surface of the recessed cavity; and a clearance is arranged between the circumferential edge of the upper surface of the partitioning plate and the inner edge of the opening; a plurality of brackets is respectively fixedly connected with the circumference at the bottom of the lower plate; and a clearance is arranged between two adjacent brackets. The building roof heat insulation device is simple, efficient, and substantially few in energy conversion times, without depending on external convection conditions; and the building roof heat insulation device is generally applicable to all types of roofs, with the convection heat insulation effect being much higher than common heat insulation bricks; meanwhile, the convection heat insulation process does not require any other energy; the building roof heat insulation device has a conjugative effect to thermoosmosis, i.e., the higher the quantity of heat is, the stronger the convection heat insulation capacity is, thereby ensuring the roof heat insulation effect under any conditions.
