The invention relates to the technical field of roof construction, and discloses a roof heat insulation device which comprises a base layer, a ventilation layer and a greening layer which are sequentially arranged on a roof from bottom to top. Supporting walls and supporting pieces which are supported between the base layer and the greening layer are arranged in the ventilation layer, the supporting cavity walls are arranged at the two ends, away from each other, of the ventilation layer, and the multiple supporting pieces are arranged in the ventilation layer at intervals; a ventilation cavity is formed between the ventilation layer and the supporting wall, ventilation openings are formed in the two sides, away from each other, of the ventilation layer, and the ventilation openings are used for communicating the ventilation cavity with the external environment; an opening and closing plate is movably arranged on the base layer, corresponds to the ventilation opening and is used for opening and closing the ventilation opening, and a driving piece used for driving the opening and closing plate to move is connected between the supporting wall and the opening and closing plate. The applicability of the heat insulation device can be improved.
