The invention relates to an anti-freezing fly ash brick and a manufacturing method thereof. The method comprises the following steps: adding 18-20 parts of water in fly ash, red mud, waste gypsum, clay and diatomite and heating to 80-85 DEG C, stirring for 20-22 minutes under rotating speed of 200-230r/min to obtain a mixing slurry, placing the mixing slurry in a bowl mill for grinding for 10-15 minutes, drying and granulating to obtain the powder material, heating asphalt for fusing, adding powder material, carboxymethyl cellulose and a plasticizer for stirring for 4-6 minutes, placing in a brickmaking die for 30-35 minutes at -2--5 DEG C to obtain the moisture-proof fly ash brick. According to the invention, the technology is simple, waste natural resource is fully used, the manufactured fly ash brick has the advantages of light weight and heat insulation, has strong anti-freezing performance, and can be used under low temperature environment.
