The invention discloses an electric control rail type door closer. The two ends of a connecting rod of a door closer unit are respectively hinged to a door bow machine and a slide block unit; a rail unit comprises a rail, an electromagnet, an ejecting body, an ejecting button, first and second induction devices and a control system; a slide way having an opening is formed in the side wall of the rail; the ejecting body hinged into the rail rotates to drive the ejecting button to extend into or retreat from the slide way; the electromagnet in the rail can magnetically absorb the ejecting body to keep the ejecting button extending into the slide way; a slide block unit can slide along the slide way; the ejecting button extending into the slide way can stop the slide block unit sliding; the first and second induction devices can respectively induce two sliding positions of the slide block unit and send signals to the control system; the control system controls the electrification or the power failure of the electromagnet; and a delay device of the control system can delay the electrification of the electromagnet according to the signals sent by the second induction device. In door closing, the slide block can slide to close a door by using a little force; and even if the a door sheet is pressed by high wind, the door can be closed easily.
