The invention discloses a sound insulation plate for a sound barrier. The sound insulation plate is characterized by comprising a sound insulation plate body, wherein an I-shaped reinforcing rib is integrally arranged at one side of the sound insulation plate body; the top surface and the bottom surface of the I-shaped reinforcing rib are respectively leveled with the top surface and the bottom surface of the sound insulation plate body; two end surfaces of a cross beam at the top of the I-shaped reinforcing rib are respectively leveled with the side surface of the sound insulation plate body; and the cross beam at the top of the I-shaped reinforcing rib is longer than a cross beam at the bottom. The sound insulation plate body and the I-shaped reinforcing rib are both prepared by thermoplastic composite materials. The sound insulation plate can be convenient to maintain bolts at the outer side of the sound barrier.
