The invention discloses a slope protection structure; and a steel structure slag stop curtain wall, a slag stop bank and a flexible protection net are arranged on a slope from top to bottom. A construction method of the slope protection structure comprises the following steps: (1) construction of the steel structure slag stop curtain wall: the steel structure slag stop curtain wall is supported and fixed on a slope surface at a position far from the outer side of a digging edge line by 1-2 m in a manner of inner side traction, outer side ejection and ground anchor anchoring; (2) construction of the slag stop bank: the slag stop bank is arranged on the slope at a position far from the lower side of the steel structure slag stop curtain wall by 1.5-3 m in a manner of drilling and rib insertion; and (3) construction of the flexible protection net: the flexible protection net is arranged on the slope at a position far from the lower side of the steel structure slag stop curtain wall by 12-18 m. The slope protection structure and the construction method thereof, provided by the invention, can solve the problems of high protection construction difficulty and difficult safety and ecological environment protection caused by a lot of slope surface stone rolling and pressing coverage phenomena in the slope excavation construction, and realize the safety and the ecological protection in the slope excavation.

The slope protection structure and the construction method thereof, provided by the invention, can solve the problems of high protection construction difficulty and difficult safety and ecological environment protection caused by a lot of slope surface stone rolling and pressing coverage phenomena in the slope excavation construction, and realize the safety and the ecological protection in the slope excavation.
