A support for installing and positioning a rain strainer, comprising an equilateral triangle support formed by three struts (1), wherein one strut is provided with an opening; locking nuts (2) are respectively arranged at the outer sides of the two ends of the opening; the two locking nuts (2) are connected with each other through a bolt (3); each vertex of the equilateral triangle support is provided with a vertically-downward L-shaped leg (4) of which the lower end is provided with a nut (5) arranged levelly; and a screw (6) capable of adjusting the height is arranged on the each nut (5). The support helps to confirm the positioning of the installing plane of the rain strainer and control the installing elevation of the rain strainer well. While ensuring the construction quality, the construction progress is greatly quickened; the cost is greatly reduced; and the support is simple in structure and convenient to carry.
