Excavation device for railway ballast pillow bottoms
Provided is an excavation device for railway ballast pillow bottoms. A bottom cutting device 9 is connected with a main vehicle frame via a horizontal telescoping mechanism 8, a revolution mechanism 7, an elevating system 6 and a back and forth moving mechanism 5. The cutting-in angle, the inclination angle and the horizontal angle can be adjusted. During operation, the bottom cutting device 9 is capable of cutting in a pillow bottom from two sides of a ballast bed of a rail track so as to excavate the ballasts. By adjusting the cutting-in angle of the bottom cutting device 9, the excavation angle can be continuously changed. The excavation device is capable of performing railway ballast pillow bottoms in a turnout zone and in a main track.
