A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The invention belongs to the technical field of ceramics and particularly relates to semitransparent jadeite ceramic and a preparation method thereof. The semitransparent jadeite ceramic is prepared by a method comprising the following steps: weighing 24 to 28 parts of anhydrous sodium carbonate, 25 to 27 parts of aluminum oxide powder and 58 to 60 parts of silicon dioxide powder, adding methylcellulose and water to obtain a mixture I; pelletizing and pressing the mixture I into blank after carrying out sufficient wet-mixing, and drying the blank, sintering the dried blank at a high temperature, and cooling the sintered blank to obtain a ceramic plate with a jadeite component; crushing the ceramic plate into powder, adding methylcellulose and water to obtain a mixture II, pelletizing and pressing the mixture II into blank after carrying out sufficient wet-mixing, and drying the blank, sintering the dried blank at a high temperature, and cooling the sintered blank to obtain a jadeite ceramic plate; keeping the jadeite ceramic plate for 0.5 to 1.5 hours at 1300 to 1500 DEG C under 4 to 5 GPa, and slowly cooling the jadeite ceramic plate to the normal temperature and the normal pressure; or keeping the jadeite ceramic plate for 0.5 to 1.5 hours at 1300 to 1500 DEG C at 4 to 5 GPa after carrying out hot isostatic pressure sintering, and slowly cooling the jadeite ceramic plate to the normal temperature and the normal pressure, thereby obtaining semitransparent jadeite ceramic.
