The invention discloses an improved manhole cover which comprises a cover body. The improved manhole cover is characterized in that two positioning pieces are symmetrically arranged on the side wall of the cover body, a flow guide groove is formed in the cover body, the flow guide groove is of an annular structure, and positioning grooves are formed in the positions, close to the positioning pieces, of the upper surface of the cover body. The improved manhole cover is novel in structure, unique in positioning structure and flow guide groove design, convenient to mount and dismount, good in flow guide effect and beneficial to prolonging the service life of pipelines.
