The present invention discloses an underground cleaning apparatus which comprises a mounting rack and a dirt cleaning rod. The cleaning apparatus further comprises a hydraulic cylinder and a Y shape connecting device. The mounting rack comprises a horizontal plate and a vertical plate. The horizontal plate and the vertical plate are connected perpendicularly to each other. The top end of the vertical plate is provided with a first connecting shaft. The abovementioned dirt cleaning rod is connected in rotation with the first connecting shaft. The upper end of the Y shape connecting device is connected in rotation with the middle part of the dirt cleaning rod. The lower end of the Y shape connecting device is fixedly connected with a piston of the hydraulic cylinder. The advantages of the underground cleaning apparatus are that the dirt cleaning rod has a groove which makes it clean dirt more completely and at a rapid and efficient speed.
