To provide an under ground cleaning device which can easily and efficiently remove deposits on an external surface of an existing underground structure, and a cleaning method for an existing underground structure.SOLUTION: An underground cleaning device 30 for cleaning an external surface of an underground structure 1, and an existing underground structure cleaning method with use of the underground cleaning device 30 are provided. The underground cleaning device 30 comprises a rotary drum 31 which rotates around a shaft perpendicular to the external surface, and plural cleaning brushes 6, 6, etc. provided on an end face of the rotary drum 31 on the external surface side of the underground structure 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
