The invention discloses a buckling restrained brace and relates to a building energy-dissipating shock-absorbing component. The buckling restrained brace comprises an outer sleeve, a seal plate, a core material, a rubber layer, pins, end support gusset plates and a filling material. The core material is composed of at least two core material plates. A connection section of at least one core material plate is provided with a strip-shaped pin receding hole. At least one core material plate is provided with a pin fastening hole. The core material plates and the rubber layer are laminated and bonded through vulcanization. The end supporting gusset plates and the connection sections at the ends of the core material are stacked and connected. The pins penetrate through the pin fastening holes and the pin receding holes. The two ends of each pin are fastened, located, and located in the corresponding strip-shaped pin receding hole. The core material connection sections of the core material are provided with the pin fastening holes and the strip-shaped pin receding holes, small earthquakes and major earthquakes are both considered, and complicated earthquake needs are met; by the adoption of the rubber layer, the energy-dissipating capacity and the fatigue resisting performance are improved; the connection sections are designed by stacking steel plates, the rigidity of the connection sections and the connection safety coefficient can be increased, and the use safety of the buckling restrained brace is improved.
