The invention provides a flexible metal-ceramic composite material and a preparation method thereof.The flexible metal-ceramic composite material comprises a woven wire layer, and the upper and thelower surface of the woven wire layer are provided with metal-ceramic composite material layers, and each metal-ceramic composite material layer comprises the following components in part by weight: 20-50 parts of aggregate, 30-50 parts of filling material, and 20-30 parts of organic additive. The woven wire layer is a fine steel wire mesh whose aperture is 0.5mm x 0.5mm. The preparation method comprises the following steps: selecting materials in part by weight,including 20-50 parts of aggregates and 30-50 parts of filling materials; mixing the selected materials uniformly, adding 20-30 parts by weight of organic additive, carrying out high energy ball milling and sieving, and preparing a slurry; molding the prepared slurry into a metal-ceramic composite material green compact in a tape casting machine; rollingthe prepared green compact into a shape with 1mm to 5mm thickness in a rolling machine after the prepared green compact fits closely to the fine steel wire mesh, carrying out heat preservation in a vacuum drying box at 30-35 DEG C for 10-15 minutes, carrying out removing, trimming and rolling, and obtaining the flexible metal-ceramic composite material. The invention solves the technology problems, such as restoration of metal special-shaped surface and construction facilityinconvenience, etc.The invention has the characteristics of high production efficiency, simple operation equipment, low process noise and line production applicability, and the invention has the advantages of high density of the prepared flexible metal-ceramic composite material, controllable thickness and good wear resistance.The flexible metal-ceramic composite material provided by the invention can be applied to modification of metal surface, such as preparation of wear-resistant etch-resistant coatings.
