The present invention relates to a thermal insulating wall. The thermal insulating wall comprises a wall body layer, a leveling layer, a mortar layer, a heat retaining panel, a mortar layer with fiberglass gridding cloth, and a decoration layer from inside to outside in turn, wherein the mortar layer with the fiberglass gridding cloth and the heat retaining panel are connected with the wall body layer through expansion bolts whose diameter is 8 mm. The mortar layer with the fiberglass gridding cloth is adopted to protect the heat retaining panel, thereby raising the heat retaining effect of the wall and prolonging the service life of the wall; and the heat retaining panel is connected with the wall body not only through mortar, but also through the expansion bolts, thereby raising the firmness of the thermal insulating wall.
