Diatom particles and preparation method thereof
The invention provides diatom particles and a preparation method thereof. The diatom particles comprise components as follows: 40wt%-60wt% of diatomite, 25wt%-45wt% of an inorganic gelling material, 1wt%-5wt% of a gelling agent and 10wt%-20wt% of sepiolite velvet. The preparation method of the diatom particles comprises steps as follows: mixing the components with water, and then sequentially performing pelletizing, curing and drying to obtain the diatom particles. Compared with the prior art, the diatom particles are prepared from the diatomite, the inorganic gelling material, the gelling agent and the sepiolite velvet with a curing formation method, all the components have a synergistic effect during curing, and the obtained products are high in strength and good in wear resistance. Experimental results indicate that the compressive strength of the diatom particles is 13.5 N-19.63 N, and the wear is 3.27%-4.8% after the diatom particles are dry-ground for 30 min.
