Low-aluminum alkali-resistant mullite brick and preparation method thereof
The invention relates to a low-aluminum alkali-resistant mullite brick and a preparation method thereof. The mullite brick comprises the following raw materials in percentage by weight: 30 to 50% of waste high voltage electric porcelain (3-1 mm), 15 to 30% of synthesized low-aluminum mullite (1-0.088 mm), 20 to 30% of synthesized low-aluminum mullite (<0.088 mm), 5 to 15% of silicon sand powder (<0.088 mm), and 5 to 10% of waste sulfurous acid paper pulp. The preparation method comprises the following steps: adding the raw materials in to a wet grinding machine according to the ratio mentioned above, mixing the raw materials in the wet grinding machine for 15 to 20 minutes, pressing and moulding the mixture under a pressure of 200-250 MPa, conveying the moulds to a kiln, drying the moulds at a temperature of 110-120 DEG C for 20 to 24 hours, sintering the moulds at a temperature of 1300 to 1400 DEG C, and finally maintaining the temperature for 6 to 8 hours so as to obtain the bricks. According to the preparation method, industrial waste electric porcelain and synthesized low-aluminum mullite are taken as the main raw materials, and thus the brick has an excellent performance on resisting alkali corrosion, high temperature, and thermal shock and can be widely applied to the preheating decomposition belt of cement kiln.
