The invention discloses an oscillation starting device of a road roller. The oscillation starting device comprises an oscillation starting casing, wherein an eccentric shaft I, an input shaft and an eccentric shaft II are sequentially arranged in the oscillation starting casing; each of the eccentric shaft I, the input shaft and the eccentric shaft II is mounted on a bearing holder through a bearing; the bearing holder is fixedly arranged on the oscillation starting casing; a driving gear is arranged on the input shaft; a driven gear I is arranged on the eccentric shaft I, and a driven gear II is arranged on the eccentric shaft II; a fixed eccentric block is fixedly arranged on the eccentric shaft I; an eccentric casing is fixedly arranged on the eccentric shaft II; a movable eccentric block is arranged in the eccentric casing; the movable eccentric block is arranged on the eccentric shaft II positioned in the eccentric casing in a sleeving manner; a convex block for pushing the movable eccentric block to rotate is also fixedly arranged in the eccentric casing; when a driving device drives the input shaft to rotate clockwise, oscillation starting in vibration is realized; when the driving device drives the input shaft to rotate anticlockwise, oscillation starting in oscillation is realized. The oscillation starting device is a mechanical oscillation starting mechanism which is simple to manufacture and low in cost, and can realize the dual functions of vibration and oscillation.
