The invention discloses a thermal radiation coating for a kiln. The thermal radiation coating comprises base stock, an additive, a bonding agent, a plasticizer and a solvent. The base stock and the additive are selected from five or all of zinc-aluminum spinel powder, manganese-aluminum spinel powder, ilmenite powder, boron carbide, ferric oxide and desilicication zirconium powder. The bonding agent is composed of liquid aluminum dihydrogen phosphate and liquid magnesium biphosphate. According to the thermal radiation coating, by weight, 6%-75% of the base stock, 6%-75% of the additive, 5%-29% of the bonding agent, 0.5%-3% of the plasticizer and the balance solvent are utilized. The coating is wide in working temperature range, can be used at the temperature higher than 1400 DEG C, and the maximum use temperature can reach nearly 2000 DEG C; the thermal radiation coating is suitable for various substrates, high in adhesive force onto substrates, suitable for acid-base multiple atmospheres, good in long-time durability and high in heat resistance and impact bearing capacity, the energy utilization heat efficiency is improved, the temperature of the substrates covered by the coating is lowered, the wear resistance and corrosion resistance are good, the influence on the environment is small, and the coating is convenient to use.
