A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The invention discloses a connection structure suitable for bridge differential settlement. The connection structure comprises a simply supported beam arranged between bridge piers or bridge abutments on which differential settlement occurs probably. The simply supported beam is connected with an adjacent bridge structure through a hinge structure to be adapted to small-angle turning caused by bridge differential settlement. The connection structure has the advantages that through adopting the simply supported beam for transition between the adjacent bridge piers large in geological or foundation form difference, a bridge can be adapted to foundation differential settlement, the upper structure of the bridge is stressed definitely, and the anti-heavy-load capacity of the bridge is improved.
