The invention provides a road dust removal system which comprises a dust storage box. The interior of the dust storage box is divided by a partition plate into a left cavity and a right cavity. The left end and the lower end of the left cavity are provided with an inlet and an outlet respectively. A filter screen is arranged at the inlet, and a box door is arranged at the outlet. A plurality of absorption layers are arranged in the left cavity. An induced draft fan and a controller are arranged in the right cavity. The induced draft fan is communicated with the left cavity through an air duct. The controller comprises a single-chip microcomputer and a forward-rotation and backward-rotation control circuit. The single-chip microcomputer drives the induced draft fan through the forward-rotation and backward-rotation control circuit. Due to the design, dust on a road can be effectively collected, and dust removal can be truly achieved; in addition, the labor intensity of sanitation workers can be greatly lowered.
