The invention discloses a door stopping mechanism which comprises a base. A door stopper is arranged on one side of the base, and an adjusting rod is arranged on the other side of the base and connected with the base through a rotating shaft. A thread is arranged at the end of the rotating shaft. The adjusting rod is locked through a nut at the end of the rotating shaft. According to the door stopping mechanism, the door stopper is arranged on one side of the base and connected with a door, the adjusting rod is arranged on the other side of the base and connected with the base through the rotating shaft, and the opening angle of the adjusting rod can be controlled as needed. The door stopping mechanism is convenient to use and occupies little space.
