The invention relates to gypsum for an aviation alloy casting mold and a preparation method of the gypsum, and belongs to the technical field of gypsum casting. The gypsum is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 15-25 parts of a gel material, 70-78 parts of a refractory material, 1-2 parts of a defoaming agent, 1-2 parts of an anti-cracking agent, 1-1.5 parts of a retarder, 7-11 parts of a flexibilizer and 4-5 parts of polypentabromobenzyl acrylate. The preparation method comprises the following steps: stirring the refractory material in mixing equipment for 5-10 minutes; adding the gel material to be mixed and stirred for 10-15 minutes; adding the defoaming agent and anti-cracking agent to be stirred for 5-10 minutes; and adding the polypentabromobenzyl acrylate and flexibilizer to be stirred for 10-15 minutes, and adding the retarder, and uniformly stirring to obtain a gypsum finished product. The gypsum for an aviation alloy casting mold is prepared by adopting a new raw material composition and proportion, and has the advantages of high strength, wide application range and high temperature resistance; and the preparation method is simple, is easy to operate, and is beneficial to industrial production.
