Self-resetting steel coupling beam using shape memory alloy bolts
The invention discloses a self-resetting steel coupling beam using shape memory alloy bolts. At present, a self-resetting steel coupling beam structure using shape memory alloy bolts does not exist. The cross section type and the length of the steel coupling beam can be optional according to actual needs, two ends of the steel coupling beam are connected with main structure components by the shape memory alloy bolts; and each shape memory alloy bolt applies a certain pretightening force, so that a pre-compression force is formed between the steel coupling beam and the corresponding main structure component connected with the same. When the self-resetting steel coupling beam is stressed by a designed earthquake load, the shape memory alloy bolts can deform in a super-elasticity manner, except for ends, which are in contact with a stress concentration portion, of the steel coupling beam, the whole steel coupling beam is in an elastic state, and joints of two ends of the steel coupling beam have openings. After the load disappears, the openings of the two ends of the steel coupling beam disappear, the whole steel coupling beam recovers to an initial state, and global residual deformation does not exist.
