The water-based tape-casting slurry for the magnetic substrate comprises: 70-81 parts of ferrite powder, 3-8 parts of an acrylamide monomer, 0.4-1 part of a cross-linking agent, 3-5 parts of a plasticizer, 3-5 parts of a dispersant, and 20-30 parts of water. The preparation method of the water-based tape-casting slurry for the magnetic substrate comprises steps, such as weighing, preparing a mixed solution, and adding ferrite powder into the mixed solution. The water-based tape-casting slurry for the magnetic substrate is prepared through treatment of tape-casting, a gel reaction, cutting, mechanical processing, and sintering. The water-based tape-casting slurry for the magnetic substrate is high in volume fraction of a solid phase, fast in drying, easy in defoaming, uniform in density of a tape-casting substrate, good in flexibility, low in porosity, and high in mechanical strength. The water-based tape-casting slurry is capable of being subjected to mechanical processing.
