The invention provides a spherical hinge for swivel construction. The spherical hinge comprises an upper spherical hinge part, a lower spherical hinge part and a center rotating shaft. The spherical hinge is of a steel-active-powder-concrete combined structure. The lower portion of the lower spherical hinge part is fixedly connected to the portion, below a rotating portion, of a building foundation, and the upper surface of the lower spherical hinge part is a concave spherical surface. The lower surface of the upper spherical hinge part is a convex spherical surface, and the shape of the convex spherical surface is matched with that of the concave spherical surface of the lower spherical hinge part. The upper spherical hinge part is arranged on the lower spherical hinge part through the convex spherical surface of the upper spherical hinge part. The upper portion of the upper spherical hinge part is fixedly connected to a part requiring swivel construction. Circular through holes are formed in the center of the upper spherical hinge part and the center of the lower spherical hinge part, and the center rotating shaft is arranged in the through holes. The invention further provides a machining method for the spherical hinge and an installation method for the spherical hinge.
