The invention discloses a printing system and method of road traffic pavement markers. The printing system comprises a data acquisition module, a real-time monitoring module, a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), an electromagnetic valve, a storage tank, an intelligent input module and a fine adjustment module, wherein the data acquisition module acquires data and transmits the data to the PLC; the intelligent input module inputs the corresponding data and transmits the data to the PLC; after computational analysis, the PLC transmits execution signals to the fine adjustment module, a paint spraying module and a traveling module; the fine adjustment module adjusts the electromagnetic valve to the designated position; the paint spraying module sprays street marking paint in the storage tank to the preset position; and the traveling module helps the equipment arrive at the preset position. By adopting the printing system and method disclosed by the invention, straight lines, curved lines and characters of pavements can be printed, automation control is realized, the blockage of the storage tank is avoided, resources are saved, and accidents caused by pavement operation of pavement workers are effectively avoided.
