The invention relates to a novel bamboo charcoal pottery clay water purification liner, which comprises the following components: 45-55 parts of bamboo charcoal particles, 25-30 parts of raw ore red porcelain mud, 5-15 parts of bamboo charcoal powder, 5-15 parts of medical stone, 3-5 parts of quartz powder, 2-5 parts of Zijin clay, 2-5 parts of pottery clay and 1-3 parts of carbon fiber. The preparation method comprises: adding water into the components to blend the materials into a slurry, making the slurry into a liner blank in a mold, and placing the liner blank into a totally closed electric furnace to conduct sintering molding. The novel bamboo charcoal pottery clay water purification liner provided by the invention can purify household tap water and improve water quality.
