The preparation method comprises the following steps of: taking sodium silicate, nitric-acid solution, hot-melt adhesive, ethyl acetate and polyester fiber, mixing uniformly, heating for reaction, chilling, filtering obtained materials by a plate-and-frame filter press, and obtaining wet materials; adding pyrophyllite, kaolin, phenyl-ethyl acrylate, stearic acid, calcium metasilicate, carbon black, calcium carbonate, epoxy resin, carnauba wax, surface active agent, bentonite, sodium-citrate aqueous solution, ammonia water and water into the wet materials, and after mixing uniformly, obtaining a blank; after preparing the blank into a blank brick, sintering in a kiln to obtain the insulating brick. Different from the traditional brick preparation process, the preparation method has the beneficial effects that the other materials are introduced in the process of generation of particle materials so as to form compound particles with compact structures in reaction simultaneously and form a morphological structure more beneficial for insulation, so that the insulating effect of the brick block is improved.
