The invention provides a crossing traffic control system preventing a jam. The crossing traffic control system comprises a first bus detecting device (5) arranged on the position, in front of a crossing (10), of a bus lane; a second bus detecting device (12) arranged on the position, behind the crossing (10), of the bus lane; a crossing vehicle detecting sensor (13) arranged in the crossing (10); a main street outlet vehicle detecting sensor and a main street inlet vehicle detecting sensor which are arranged on a main street inlet and outlet (9); a main street outlet lifting handrail (61) and a main street inlet lifting handrail (62) simultaneously arranged corresponding to the main street outlet vehicle detecting sensor and the main street inlet vehicle detecting sensor; a branch outlet vehicle detecting sensor and a branch inlet vehicle detecting sensor arranged on a branch inlet and outlet (8); and a branch outlet lifting handrail (71) and a branch inlet lifting handrail (72) simultaneously arranged corresponding to the branch outlet vehicle detecting sensor and the branch inlet vehicle detecting sensor. The first bus detecting device and the second bus detecting device are infrared bijection devices. By adopting the crossing traffic control system, smooth travelling of buses is facilitated.

The first bus detecting device and the second bus detecting device are infrared bijection devices. By adopting the crossing traffic control system, smooth travelling of buses is facilitated.
