PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support system for preventing a railway crossing accident, the system that cautions a risk in the railroad crossing to a vehicle or a pedestrian waiting for crossing a railroad.SOLUTION: A support system 1 for preventing a railway crossing accident includes a power generation unit 100 and a light emitting unit 200. The power generation unit comprises power generation means for converting sunlight into electric power, and supply means for supplying the electric power converted by the power generation means to the light emitting unit. The light emitting unit comprises electric storage means for storing electric power supplied by the supply means of the power generation unit, light emitting means for emitting light using electric power stored by the electric storage means, and housing means for housing a notice article. The light emitting means of the light emitting unit radiates the notice article housed by the housing means from a back surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
