The invention discloses a nickel ore waste residue ceramic water permeable brick which comprises a backing material and a surface material, wherein the backing material is prepared from the followingcomponents in parts by weight: ceramic waste added to make the total amount of 100 parts, 5-8 parts of a binder and 2-4 parts of water; the ceramic waste is composed of 20-35 parts of ceramic waste with the particle size of 16 mesh or above and the balance being ceramic waste with the particle size of 6-16 mesh; the surface material is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: ceramic waste added to make the total amount of 100 parts, 4-10 parts of a binder, 2-4 parts of water and 3-10 parts of a pigment; the pigment comprises nickel ore waste residues; the diameter of the nickel ore waste residues is 200 mesh or above. The nickel ore waste residue ceramic water permeable brick has high strength and water permeability coefficient, and can effectively reduce the processingcost.
