The invention discloses an ardealite ceramic water permeable brick which is prepared from the following components in percentage by mass: a solid powder material and water accounting for 5-10% of the mass of the solid powder material, the solid powder comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 10-50% of phosphogypsum, 35-80% of ceramic waste, 1-3% of waste glass, 3-5% of red mud, 0-10% of activated sludge and 3-5% of sodium salt, and the sum of the mass percentages of the components in the solid powder is 100%. The main raw material of the phosphogypsum ceramic water permeable brick is phosphogypsum and other solid wastes, the raw material source is wide, the cost is low, the raw material ratio is reasonable, and the water permeability of the product can be improved. The invention also discloses a preparation method of the phosphogypsum ceramic water permeable brick. The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) mixing materials; (2) preparing a green body; and (3) preparing the water permeable brick. The preparation method does not need the processes of modification, granulation, aging and the like, the preparation steps are relatively simple, the production efficiency is relatively high, the preparation process is environment-friendly, and the industrial popularization value is relatively high.
