The invention relates to a tunnel construction method, in particular to a large-section open cut arch-shaped tunnel construction method. The large-section open cut arch-shaped tunnel construction method comprises the following steps that a steel reinforcement trolley is utilized to bind steel reinforcements, so that an arch-shaped steel reinforcement cage is formed; an external formwork trolley ismoved to the outer side of the arch-shaped steel reinforcement cage, and the steel reinforcement trolley is separated from the arch-shaped steel reinforcement cage; the steel reinforcement trolley ismoved out of the inner side region of the arch-shaped steel reinforcement cage; an internal formwork trolley is moved to the inner side of the arch-shaped steel reinforcement cage, and stabilizing devices are separated from the arch-shaped steel reinforcement cage; and the internal formwork trolley and the external formwork trolley conduct formwork closing construction, and a tunnel body structure in the corresponding region is formed. According to the large-section open cut arch-shaped tunnel construction method, the steel reinforcement trolley is utilized to bind the tunnel structure steelreinforcements, the binding operation of the arch-shaped steel reinforcement cage in the next zone of a tunnel, the pouring operation of concrete in the previous zone of the tunnel and the forming construction of the tunnel body structure can be simultaneously conducted, and therefore the construction progress is greatly quickened, the construction period is shortened, and the time cost of construction, the labor cost of construction and the total construction cost are reduced.
