The invention relates to the field of preparation of building materials or building elements on site, in particular to a reinforcing steel bar binding tool for a construction site and a using method thereof. The reinforcing steel bar binding tool for the construction site comprises a supporting tube (1), and an operating end and a working end are correspondingly arranged at two ends of the supporting tube (1). The reinforcing steel bar binding tool for the construction site is characterized by further comprising supporting rings (2), a hook lever (3) and a rotating rod (4), and the at least two supporting rings (2) are fixed to the outer side wall of the supporting tube (1); the hook lever (3) is arranged in the supporting tube (1) in a penetrating mode and two ends of the hook lever (3) extend out of the supporting tube (1); and the rotating rod (4) is sequentially arranged in each supporting ring (2) in a penetrating mode and two ends of the rotating rod (4) are correspondingly arranged outside two end surfaces of the supporting tube (1). The using method of the reinforcing steel bar binding tool for the construction site is characterized by comprising the following steps in sequence: (1) ring manufacturing, (2) wire hooking, and (3) binding. The construction is simple, manufacturing is convenient, labor is saved, and the working efficiency is improved.
