The invention relates to the technical field of green buildings and in particular relates to a roof greening system of a green building. The roof greening system comprises a mounting tank, a greeningshelf, a planting frames, a sunshade device and a sprinkling irrigation device, wherein the mounting tank is arranged in a roof; the greening shelf is arranged above the roof; the planting frames arearranged inside the greening shelf and are used for planting plants; the sunshade device is arranged above the roof and is positioned above the planting frames; the sprinkling irrigation device is arranged on the roof and is used for implementing sprinkling irrigation on the plants; the planting frames comprise a first planting frame, a second planting frame and a third planting frame which are sequentially arranged along the width direction of the greening shelf; and the mounting tank is internally provided with a first driving component for driving the first planting frame, the second planting frame and the third planting frame to move to different positions. The roof greening system has the effect of adjusting positions of the plants to meet different view admiring requirements.
