The invention discloses a green building roof greening device, and relates to the technical field of green buildings. The device comprises a planting unit formed by connecting a plurality of planting modules in sequence, and a gap for pedestrians to pass through is formed by every two adjacent planting units; each planting module comprises a supporting frame and a planting pot arranged on the supporting frame, a plurality of water collecting plates are further arranged between every two adjacent planting units, and each water collecting plate is of an inverted-V-shaped structure. The planting units composed of the planting modules which are linearly arranged are adopted, the gaps for pedestrians to pass through exist between the adjacent planting units, and the pedestrians walk through the gaps during use, so that the growth conditions of plants are conveniently and regularly checked, or replacement and replanting of the plants are conveniently and regularly carried out; meanwhile, by adopting the combined arrangement of the planting pot and the water collecting plate, the roof is fully covered, and rainwater falling on the roof during rainfall is fully collected.
