The invention relates to a low-shrinkage light gypsum material, which comprises the following raw materials by mass: 100 parts of building gypsum, 35 to 45 parts of water, 40 to 60 parts of vitrifiedmicro-beads, 0.2 to 0.5 part of polyvinyl alcohol fiber, 0.2 to 0.5 part of a silane coupling agent, 3 to 8 parts of a shrinkage reducing agent, 0.3 to 0.6 part of an adhesive, 0.2 to 0.5 part of a water retaining agent, 0.2 to 0.4 part of a water reducing agent and 0.2 to 0.4 part of a retarder. According to the invention, the light thermal insulation gypsum material is prepared through compoundoptimization of the components, and has low shrinkage performance, excellent shrinkage deformation damage resistance, good workability and good thermal insulation property.
