The invention discloses a post-cast strip structure and a construction process thereof. The post-cast strip structure comprises a bottom mold and two first-cast strips, and a post-cast groove is defined by the bottom mold and the two first-cast strips; the interior of the post-cast groove is filled with concrete to form a post-cast strip; the first-cast strips on the two sides of the post-cast groove are each provided with a water stopping belt; the water stopping belts are arranged in the length direction of the post-cast groove; the opening end of the post-cast groove is covered with a prefabricated cover plate which is provided with a gate spool in a penetrating manner; and the gate spool protrudes out of the upper end face of the prefabricated cover plate to be arranged. The prefabricated cover plate is not prone to movement, it can be effectively guaranteed that during the covering period, the post-cast groove cannot be exposed, and therefore it is guaranteed that trash cannot fall into the post-cast groove in the building process; secondarily, little amount of water can be received by the water stopping belts when entering the post-cast groove through a gap, it is effectivelyguaranteed that water cannot be in contact with rebars in the post-cast groove and rusting of the rebars cannot be caused, and therefore the rebars in the post-cast groove are not prone to rusting.
