The invention discloses a shale brick which comprises a brick body, wherein a plurality of weight-reduction layers are arranged inside the brick body; the weight-reduction layers are arranged in parallel and spaced apart in the length direction of the brick body; each of the weight-reduction layers is of a honeycomb structure; thermal insulation layers are arranged between every two adjacent weight-reduction layers; each of the thermal insulation layers is of a cylindrical structure; and the thermal insulation layers are filled with thermal insulation materials. The weight of the shale brick can be effectively reduced, and the shale brick has the functions of thermal insulation and fire prevention.
