The invention discloses water-based gel tape-cast barium strontium titanate textured ceramic, belonging to the technical field of electronic materials. The barium strontium titanate textured ceramic comprises barium strontium titanate powder and flaky barium strontium titanate seed crystals, wherein the flaky barium strontium titanate seed crystals are directionally arranged in the barium strontium titanate powder in a tape casting direction in virtue of a tape casting process so as to form the ceramic with a textured structure. The relative density of the ceramic is 95%-98%, the texture degree of the ceramic is 55%-90%, the dielectric constant of the ceramic is 8000-11000, the dielectric loss of the ceramic is 0.005-0.04, and the dielectric adjustability of the ceramic is 40%-60%. The invention also provides a preparation method of the water-based gel tape-cast barium strontium titanate textured ceramic. The flaky barium strontium titanate seed crystals and the barium strontium titanate powder are combined, the flaky barium strontium titanate seed crystals are directionally arranged in the barium strontium titanate powder in the tape casting direction in virtue of the tape castingprocess, so the purpose of improving the dielectric property of the ceramic can be achieved while the orientation of the ceramic is improved.
