According to the method and device of the invention, the first flatness of a first formwork and the second flatness of a second formwork in a first road section are obtained; the first reference line information of the first road section is obtained; whether a first deviation value between the first flatness and the second flatness is greater than a first preset threshold value or not is judged; when the first deviation value is greater than the first preset threshold value, the first adjustment angle of the first formwork and/or the second adjustment angle of the second formwork are/is determined according to the first reference line information; the firstjoint goodness of fit between of the first formwork and the second formwork is determined according to the first adjustment angle and the second adjustment angle; whether the first joint goodness offit conforms to a second preset threshold value or not is judged; and when the first joint goodness of fit conforms to the second preset threshold value, a first position relation between the first formwork and the second formwork is determined, and therefore, formwork placing efficiency in road construction can be improved, and placing quality is also improved.
