The invention discloses a road concrete side formwork supporting device and a construction method thereof.The road concrete side formwork supporting device comprises a rigid pressure-bearing part, the rigid pressure-bearing part is laid on a foundation through anchor rods, and the rigid pressure-bearing part is provided with a first end and a second end which are opposite; the upper portion of the first end of the rigid pressure-bearing piece is provided with a plurality of counter-force pieces arranged at intervals in the length direction of the rigid pressure-bearing piece. The supporting piece is used for supporting a road concrete side formwork, and one end of the supporting piece is installed at the second end of the rigid pressure-bearing piece in a turnover mode; the upper end of the inclined supporting piece is hinged to the other end of the supporting piece, and the lower end of the inclined supporting piece is supported at the second end, facing the rigid pressure-bearing piece, of the counter-force piece. The problems that according to an existing road formwork fixing mode, formwork fixing is not firm, and construction efficiency is low are solved.
