The invention discloses a device for grinding a steel rail through a resin grinding rigid grinding wheel. The device comprises a device main body, and a liquid storage cavity is formed in the device main body; cooling liquid is stored in the liquid storage cavity to cool the steel rail in the grinding process; a control device is arranged on the lower side of the liquid storage cavity; the controldevice controls intermittent supply of cooling liquid in the liquid storage cavity; and a grinding cavity is formed in the lower side of the control device. The resin rigid grinding wheel is used forgrinding the upper surface of the steel rail, in the grinding process, cooling liquid is added to reduce the heat of a polished part to avoid damage to steel rails, potential safety hazards caused byopen fire generated by high temperature during polishing are reduced, intermittent supply of cooling liquid is controlled through the control device, consumption and waste of the cooling liquid are reduced, rotation of the grinding wheel and rotation of the rolling wheel are in linkage in the grinding process, the device body moves along a steel rail in the grinding process, the grinding processis continuously and automatically carried out, the working efficiency is high, and safety is high.
