The invention relates to a phenyl cationic micro-monomer polymer modified block polycarboxylate water reducer, which is mainly prepared from the following components: 3 to 7 parts of benzene ring monomers; 5-7 parts of a cationic micro-monomer; 354 to 365 parts of a polyether macro-monomer; 16 to 27 parts of unsaturated dicarboxylic acid; 1.1 to 1.5 parts of an initiator a; 1.8 to 2.2 parts of aninitiator b; 0.7 to 1.1 parts of an initiator c; 1.3 to 1.6 parts of a chain transfer agent; and the balance being water, wherein the total mass of the raw materials is 1000 parts, and the mass fraction is 40%. The block polycarboxylate water reducer is prepared by grafting and copolymerizing the phenyl cationic micro-monomer polymer to the main chain of the polyether macro-monomer, and the waterreducer has the advantages of low cement consumption, good durability, no corrosion to reinforcing steel bars, and efficient particle dispersion performance and retention capacity.
