The invention discloses a pile driver for civil engineering. The pile driver comprises a bottom plate, wherein two-way oil cylinders are symmetrically arranged on the left side and the right side of the top of the bottom plate, and the fixed ends of the two-way oil cylinders are vertically fixed to the bottom plate; the movable ends of the bottoms of the two-way oil cylinders penetrate through thebottom plate and are fixed to second supporting plates, and first supporting plates are fixed to the upper ends of the movable ends of the tops of the two-way oil cylinders; sliding push cylinder assemblies are vertically arranged in the middle parts of the first supporting plates, a plurality of sliding rails are arranged at the upper ends of the first supporting plates in a circular array modeat equal intervals with the middle parts of the sliding push cylinder assemblies as original points, and sliding blocks are arranged on the sliding rails; and a pressing plate transversely arranged inan initial state is arranged at the upper end of a movable support. According to the pile driver for the civil engineering, a pile is pressed into soil through one-way oil cylinders and the two-way oil cylinders in the initial stage, and the pile is completely pressed into the soil in an impacting mode only when the downward pressing force in the later stage is insufficient, so that noise generated in the process is low, a large amount of black smoke cannot be generated in the whole working process, and clean and environmental protection are achieved; and meanwhile, the lever theorem is utilized, so that energy consumption is reduced.
