The invention discloses a method for hoisting an ultra-large glass curtain wall. The method specifically comprises the following steps that the glass curtain wall is installed in a hoisting frame; lifting hooks are connected with hanging plates of the hoisting frame, and the glass curtain wall is hoisted to a set height; a transverse connecting piece at the upper end of the hoisting frame is removed, and a glass hanging clip pre-installed on a wall keel is locked and fixed with the glass curtain wall; and vertical connecting pieces on the left and right sides of the hoisting frame and the transverse connecting piece at the lower end are removed. According to the method, the temporary hoisting frame is installed outside the glass curtain wall, in the hoisting process, the dead weight of glass can be transmitted to the hoisting frame, glass breakage can be avoided, after the glass curtain wall is hoisted in place, the hoisting frame can be removed, and the installation firmness of the glass curtain wall can be ensured while the installation attractiveness of the glass curtain wall is ensured.
