The invention discloses a zinc-free transparent glaze for porcelain tableware and a manufacturing method of the zinc-free transparent glaze. The zinc-free transparent glaze for the porcelain tablewareis prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 35 to 45 parts of potassium feldspar, 5 to 20 parts of quartz, 6 to 10 parts of wollastonite, 2 to 6 parts of dolomite and 16 to 24 partsof high-temperature frit. According to the invention, albite is replaced by the potassium feldspar and the high-temperature frit and a frit regulator are added, so that the firing range of the transparent glaze is enlarged, the initial melting point of glaze water can be reduced, the glaze firing temperature is not reduced, the glaze can be fired at the temperature provided by the invention, thefired glaze surface is smooth, the defects of pinholes, pores and the like of the product can be reduced, and the physical and chemical properties of the product can reach the international standard.
